In the middle of Vienna is the Hofburg palace located (yes, another palace). The property includes the Imperial Palace, the Natural History Museum, the Austrian National Library, the Spanish Riding School and a Treasure House. Obviously, I loved the Treasure House most of all.. So many sparkles!
This is me on a square at Hofburg palace.. But let’s get back to the sparkles, shall we? 😉
Guess who brought back some new headgear? .. HA, I wish (#sadface 😉 ).
The treasures that can be found in Hofburg palace cover a lot of history from over a thousand years back. The Treasure House has 21 rooms and holds some of the most important treasures of the world. These vary from objects that appear to be connected to the Holy Grail and ‘Unicorns’.. Well, everything is worth a fortune and you probably would like the collection and all its bling.
Hofburg palace has a wide variety of things to admire. Check online before planning your visit, since not everything is opened all day or every day. Luckily, Hofburg palace is on walking distance from the city centre so you don’t need to worry about transportation. There are also restaurants nearby for a quick (and expensive) lunch. What else do you need?
